Instructions
1. Make the Crust
In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until evenly combined.
Press firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
2. Dissolve the Gelatin
In a small bowl, pour boiling water over the orange gelatin powder.
Stir until completely dissolved.
Set aside to cool slightly (do not let it set).
3. Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and lump-free.
Add powdered sugar and beat until creamy.
Mix in orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract.
Slowly pour in the cooled gelatin mixture while mixing on low speed until fully incorporated.
4. Fold in Whipped Cream
Gently fold the whipped topping into the orange mixture until smooth and fluffy.
Do not overmix—this keeps the filling light.
5. Fill and Chill
Pour the filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until fully set.
6. Serve
Top with whipped cream and orange slices if desired.
Slice with a clean, sharp knife for neat cuts.
