Step-by-step instructions

1 – Cook the sausages

  3. Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly.


2 – Make the pancake batter

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.

  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined (do not overmix).


3 – Coat the sausages

  1. Optional: Insert small wooden skewers into each sausage (like mini corn dogs).

  2. Dip each sausage into the batter, coating it fully.


4 – Cook

Pan method

  1. Heat a lightly oiled nonstick skillet over medium heat.
