These hot chicken, ham, and cheese wraps are the ultimate comfort snack or light meal. Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, they can be made in either an air fryer or oven with equally delicious results. Perfect for lunchboxes, quick dinners, or party platters.

Main Ingredients:

  • 4 large tortillas or wraps (plain or whole wheat)
  • 200 g (7 oz) cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard or mayonnaise (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For brushing:

  • 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Assemble the Wraps

  • Lay out a tortilla on a flat surface.
  • Spread a small amount of Dijon mustard or mayo if using.
  • Place a slice of ham, a layer of shredded chicken, a slice of Swiss cheese (optional), and a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.
  • Season with a little salt and pepper.
  • Fold in the sides and roll tightly like a burrito.

2. Brush with Butter or Oil

  • Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
  • Brush the outside of each wrap with the mixture to enhance crispiness and flavor.

3. Cook

Air Fryer Method:

  • Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  • Place wraps seam-side down in the basket.
  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.

Oven Method:

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
  • Place wraps on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
